These opportunities will be available on an occasional basis, and at short notice. Much of the training offered is likely to be available at your own institution. Requests may not always be successful as priority will be given to each university’s own staff. This access is being offered on a trial basis.

Research and professional skills training is also available to doctoral researchers.

Research management staff

A development programme for professional services staff supporting research activity is being created.

Research management staff work with academics, researchers, students and entrepreneurial groups inside and outside of higher education. They support research communities to apply for funding, manage projects, and make connections across universities and industry.

By improving development opportunities, we support their crucial roles in making our research communities more efficient and effective.
