The AMR Alliance builds on the GW4 universities’ strong and diverse portfolio of AMR research, particularly in the ‘One Health’ domain. AMR can only be tackled by all disciplines working together, including the arts, humanities, social sciences, STEM subjects, and clinical sciences.
We particularly encourage all investigators in the GW4 (and Rothamsted Research – North Wyke Farm), including our Early Career Researchers and postgraduate researchers, working in the AMR or AMR-related research field and those who are not currently but believe they might have something to offer this research field, to register to join this network so you can connect with other investigators and benefit from the AMR Alliance’s activities and potential funding opportunities.
The AMR Alliance team, led by an academic Steering Group, a network manager, and a coordinator who liaises with the local AMR research networks in the four universities, drives the activities as we work to realise our ambition and secure the future sustainability of the AMR Alliance network across our institutions.
We have recently launched the GW4 AMR Alliance SharePoint with over 280 members. If you are affiliated with one of the GW4 universities, you can join the community on SharePoint.
What to expect from SharePoint:
- GW4 AMR Alliance News: Stay updated on the latest AMR developments.
- GW4 Shared Facilities: Explore resources across our universities.
- Funding Opportunities: Access funding info for AMR research.
- Upcoming Events: Discover AMR-related events.
- Expertise Directory: Connect with AMR Steering Group members and find details of all AMR Alliance members.
