We are delighted to announce the second workshop of the 'Medieval Studies Mobilising Digital Humanities' project funded by the GW4 Building Communities Generator Fund. Each workshop focuses on a particular aspect of digital technology and its application to Medieval Studies. Our second workshop is on the theme of 'Digital Corpora and Editions'. Participants will be introduced to a range of methods and tools that can enhance the development of digital corpora and editions, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
The aim of this project, ‘Medieval Studies Mobilising Digital Humanities’, is to develop and apply new methodologies for research in Medieval Studies using digital tools. Our central research question asks how medievalists can benefit from methods and practices currently evolving in modern digital humanities scholarship.
