Co-imagining the Foundations for Community-led Integrated Systems (Co-FoCIS)

Research on integrated system across domains such as energy, water, and food has largely taken technical, quantitative, and top-down approaches, often led by government or institutional actors. Digital and information are technologies are increasingly being part of these domains, but the social domain—especially community engagement—remain underrepresented. Led by Dr Stephen Salve Doliente (University of Bath), this project examines what a future of community engagement with integrated systems might look like, and what challenges emerge when resources, information, and the environment, become increasingly interconnected.
