GW4 ECR Symposium – Climate Change: Science and Society

GW4 ECR Symposium – Climate Change: Science and Society

‘Climate Change: Science and Society’ is a free online symposium organised by GW4 early career researchers. It is designed to facilitate networking between researchers working across different disciplines with an interest in climate change.

This two-day event will address three broad themes:

  • impacts of climate change
  • mobilizing societal change
  • sustainable solutions

The event will consist of short talks and panel discussions with invited speakers, as well as posters on these themes. There will also be the chance for participants to join break-out discussions on five key topics: cities, energy, transport, food, and health.

The symposium aims to bring together both early career researchers and more established researchers to discuss the many challenges spanning a wide range of disciplines that are associated with global climate change.
