GW4 Psychology Away Day

The community, “Psychology and allied disciplines” will be addressing the impact of the COVID pandemic on academic collaboration by raising awareness and supporting collaborative research within psychology and related subjects in an interdisciplinary event for PGs. The event promises to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, funding ideas, and networking opportunities.

The event will open with a lecture highlighting the aims, funding and studentships available within the GW4 and beyond. In parallel sessions, facilitators within the community will lead discussions surrounding cross-cutting themes within Psychology. The facilators will be discussing open science, inclusivity, building a positive research culture, and research engagement.

The afternoon will see more panel sessions focusing on flash talks and discussion within certain research themes, ranging from health and wellbeing, to developmental science and neuroscience.

The event is open to GW4 Postgraduates in Psychology and related disciplines and will take place at the University of Bristol.
