LanGW4

Project Summary

LanGW4 were established in 2014 to promote collaboration with teaching and research projects in language teaching innovation between the four universities in order to strengthen the quality of language training. They have an annual conference, fostering vital cross-language collaborations amongst language practitioners from GW4. The Development Award funded the annual conference in June 2023 and a redevelopment of the LanGW4 website (www.lanGW4.com). The conference was a success, with 75 delegates reporting high levels of satisfaction. It afforded delegates the opportunity for professional development, networking and furthering alliances between the 4 institutions; this will particularly support innovative teaching practice which may lead to published outputs and funding opportunities as well as strengthening the quality of language teaching across GW4.
