British Academy ECR Network South West Launch

May 19, 2022

The British Academy Early Career Researcher Network brings together ECRs across the humanities and social sciences disciplines, regardless of their funding source or background.

Join us to meet your future research network and get funds to begin planning your collaborations.

Following the hugely successful Midlands Hub launch, the British Academy in partnership with GW4 Alliance and five South West universities* are hosting the launch of the ECR Network South West Hub at the MShed in Bristol on the 19 May 2022 from 10am – 3.45pm. Reasonable travel and accommodation will be provided.

At the event, you’ll:

  • Identify other ECRs interested in new research collaborations
  • Hear about BA Network funds to get your collaborations started
  • See how other networks are driving change across sectors and industry
  • Shape what activities the network will deliver to help you

You can find out more about the day and book your ticket here. Tickets are limited and registration closes on 5 May, so don’t delay.

Once you have received your ticket, you can contact ecr_network@thebritishacademy.ac.uk if you would like to know more about travel and accommodation provision. You will need to be a registered member of the network to attend; register here under ‘to join the network’.

* The South West hub is led by GW4 Alliance and the Universities of Bath Spa, Bournemouth, Gloucestershire, Plymouth and UWE, Bristol.
