GW4 ECR SYMPOSIUM – Climate Change: Solutions and how to Communicate themJune 22, 2021 - June 23, 2021
This GW4 funded PGR/ECR-led event is one of the successful projects part of the GW4 Early Career Symposia Scheme.
Organised by GW4 early career researchers, this two-day event (22nd-23rd June) will address four broad themes: traditional natural resource management, energy technology towards net-zero, AI and climate change and communication to maximise research impact. The event will feature panel discussions and paper presentations as well as other, fun and more informal events.
The event is a free online symposium creating a space for ECRs to disseminate and discuss research ideas in a like-minded peer, low pressure setting. The symposium is multidisciplinary in nature, offering a great opportunity for ECRs to broaden insights into their research ideas. By bringing together climate change researchers across a range of disciplines and organisations, we hope to provide an opportunity to expand networks and forge potential collaborations.
