AHRC/BBC Radio 3 New Generation Thinkers 2020 Applicant Workshop

Cardiff University is holding an information session open to all GW4 institutions on 11th September 2019, 12:00-13.30. It will include an outline of the scheme, as well as advice from recent attendees, including Susan Greaney, a current participant in the scheme.

Applications for the 2020 scheme – the 10th anniversary of New Generation Thinkers – are now open.

Each year, up to sixty successful applicants have a chance to develop their programme-making ideas with experienced BBC producers at a series of dedicated workshops. Of these up to ten will become Radio 3’s resident New Generation Thinkers. They will benefit from a unique opportunity to develop their own programmes for BBC Radio 3 and a chance to regularly appear on air.

This scheme is open to current PhD/Early Career Researchers (see the AHRC website for eligibility).
