Various sensitivities can make sharing research data tricky. How do you weigh obligations to participants or commercial interests against transparency, verification, and reuse? What does “as open as possible, as closed as necessary” look like in practice?
Join researchers from a wide variety of backgrounds to hear about how they find the right balance of open and closed.
This online event is part of GW4 Open Research Week as is open to all. It will be led by Zosia Beckles (University of Bristol); Kellie Snow, Research Data Manager (Cardiff University); Kate Ehrig-Page, Research Data Librarian; Alice Motes, Senior Research Data Librarian (University of Bath).
Speakers will include:
- Em Tonkin, Research Fellow and Data Manager for the SPHERE project, University of Bristol
- Logan Wade, Research Fellow, CAMERA, University of Bath
- Annayah Prosser, Lecturer, School of Management, University of Bath
- Sofia Gameiro, Reader, School of Psychology, Cardiff University
