We are delighted to announce that registration is now open for the GW4 AMR Alliance Networking and Bid Development Workshop.
This year’s workshop is open to all GW4-based academics and investigators (including final-year doctoral students) with an interest in antimicrobial resistance (AMR), from any discipline. The event will provide an opportunity to:
-
Network and meet new collaborators across GW4,
-
Brainstorm and discuss AMR challenges,
-
Scope ideas for new cross-institutional collaborative projects and communities.
The workshop is aligned with the upcoming GW4 Generator Fund 2026 call (opening November 2025).
Workshop highlights include:
-
Icebreaker lightning talks to introduce your research,
-
World café-style roundtable discussions on AMR challenges proposed by participants, to scope ideas for potential GW4 Generator and Development Awards (or other funding schemes),
-
Updates on GW4 funding opportunities,
-
Update on the GW4 AMR cross-institutional mentorship programme and career development discussions,
-
Launch of our online interdisciplinary AMR research discussion sessions for 2026.
Key information:
-
Register here by 28 October 2025.
-
Places will be confirmed by 31 October 2025 (following a light-touch review to ensure balanced representation across themes, career stages, and institutions).
