GW4 is committed to raising the profile of our region within government, championing our academic institutions and highlighting key research and development priorities for the South West of England and South Wales.
Ahead of the 2024 UK General Election, GW4 contacted each of the parliamentary candidates, who were contesting constituencies that are part of the geography of the universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter, to highlight the collective strengths and impact of collaborations between our partner universities, as well as some ways in which we support and engage with parliamentarians and other policymakers.
