Project overview

We are an interdisciplinary group – of university academics (e.g., geneticists, psychologists), neurodivergent people, and third sector organisations – working together towards a step-change in understanding and improving the lives of neurodivergent people and those with neurodevelopmental conditions.

Project summary

We propose to build an interdisciplinary community of GW4 experts on neurodevelopmental neurodiversity. Our network will include non-academic partnerships with a coalition of charities, employers, and neurodivergent adults. Together, we will co-develop strategies towards a step-change in research on understanding and improving the lives of neurodivergent people. This will have broader implications for research and policy on social justice and mental health, towards more inclusive, innovative, and reflective societies.
