Change Doesn’t Happen Alone
To coincide with GW4’s 10-year anniversary this month, the Alliance is getting a brand-new look.
Founded in 2013, GW4 is an alliance of four of the most research-intensive and innovative universities in the UK: Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter. Collaboration is at the heart of GW4 and working together makes GW4 greater together than the sum of its parts. GW4’s new branding and website reflects its values and embodies its bold vision for the future.
GW4 acts as the anchor institution working with other universities, businesses and civic bodies, to support a knowledge-intensive economy. By combining academic expertise from multiple disciplines and utilising the region’s world-leading research and innovation facilities GW4 aims to tackle some of the most critical challenges facing the world today.
Dr Joanna Jenkinson MBE, GW4 Alliance Director, said: “I’m very excited to launch our new brand and website alongside our new strategic vision to showcase the very best of GW4 and the exciting opportunities we have to make an impact, by working together at scale and pace. I believe the new branding speaks directly to our mission and core values and will help tell our story to different audiences. GW4 has had a fantastic first 10 years, and I’m very excited for our future”.
