COMING SOON! – 4x Junior RTP positions
These trainee technical roles with responsibility for supporting the delivery of specialist research and technical services as part of the X-CITED research programme. These roles will form part of a collaborative cohort across the GW4 institutes, that will work closely together throughout their contracts. As part of this group, you will engage in shared training, knowledge exchange, and cross-institutional collaboration, fostering a strong professional network while developing your technical expertise.
The four roles will be distributed across the South West region, covering the following discipline areas:
- Chemical Characterisation
- Digital RTP
- Materials & Structural Characterisation
- Microscopy & Nanomaterials

What is the Talent Bank?
RTPs will generate, with funding from X-CITED, opportunities for junior and other staff to learn to support and fill activities undertake by the Community of Practice RTPs. Those existing RTPs and their junior counterparts form the Talent Bank. As those RTPs are deployed to our Industrial Challange Projects, the Talent Bank will serve to cover their activities through training and deployment of earlier career RTPs and others across the GW4 institutions.
