The second issue of the GW4 newsletter is now available.
The last six months have been busy ones for the Alliance, with notable successes including our GW4 Away Day in March and crossing the £1 million mark for our work to create and boost GW4 research communities. At the same time, GW4 academics have been working together to address major economic and societal challenges.
We also look at what GW4 has done for one research community who have a shared interest in researching and preventing self-harm and suicide in children and young people. And Sir Steve Smith (Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of the University of Exeter) discusses the geography of innovation and the opportunities available to GW4.
