Directors Update:
This month we are excited to announce our new wide-ranging strategic research partnership with the National Trust. This regional partnership is the first of its kind for the National Trust and builds upon previous strategic investment from GW4. It reflects our vision to develop strong partnerships at scale and I’m looking forward to seeing how the interdisciplinary project teams develop the research themes in areas such as climate resilience, colonial legacies and mental health, wellbeing and landscape.
I am also thrilled to celebrate the success of our GW4 researchers awarded UKRI Future Leaders Fellowships. Researchers from each GW4 institution have been recognised with this prestigious award, including two GW4 Crucible Alumni.
There’s also still time to apply for a number of our Doctoral Training Programmes, from Earth, Environmental and Life Sciences research to Freshwater ecosystems and Biosciences.
