Transforming GW4 universities into ‘living labs’ for Net Zero

Transforming GW4 universities into ‘living labs’ for Net Zero

The GW4 Living Labs pilot engages students, researchers, non-academic staff, local authorities, community organisations, and industry in developing Living Labs for Net Zero Transformation. This project focuses on emissions from our supply chains and travel (Scope 3 emissions), which represent our greatest opportunity to cut emissions. If you are working on a similar project, you can add your project to our map of existing living lab-style projects across GW4.

Our final project workshop, on 28 February 2023, will look at Scope 3 emissions in Southwest England and South Wales.  GW4 colleagues will work with external partners to identify opportunities to collaborate on reducing these emissions.

If you are interested in hearing more about the project, please email climate@GW4.ac.uk

GW4 academics and researchers from all disciplines, including Early Career Researchers and postgraduate students, working or interested in climate research are invited to join the GW4 Climate Alliance.
