Hear from Dr Asel Sartbaeva (University of Bath) part of GWPore: Porous Materials For Energy, Healthcare And The Environment talk about their GW4 research and innovation community, how the GW4 Generator Fund benefited their research project, their outcomes and how they adapted their plans due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
Dr Sartbaeva said: “This funding really helped our community to get together and start communicating and working towards a common purpose. Having the backing from GW4 helped us enormously. Because of the pandemic we had to do everything online and we really embraced using online platforms – we invited a lot more people from all over the world, bringing in different points of view and widening our network.”
